The Primary router node is packaged inside a nice soft plastic wrap. It's very compact and has no external antennas. It's very modern and simplistic.

On the back there’s a reset pin, two Ethernet ports (both Gigabit) and the power input. On the bottom there are just two mounting holes and some regulatory info. As well as a QR code, which is used to set up and pair the mesh nodes. On the front there’s a Nova logo and a very small LED.

The satellite or mesh nodes are wrapped in the same soft plastic. They look like small plug and play WiFi range extenders. On the front is the same nova logo and LED. On the back are the AC plugs, and the bottom has a reset pin alongside a single 100 megabit Ethernet port. There is also another QR code on each of these units.

Summary

This Nova MW5 setup includes the single primary router node and two AC plug style satellite nodes in the box.
